Benoit Mallory Tételin is a Paris-based director working across fashion, luxury and cinema. His practice combines strong visual discipline, precise image direction and a cinematic sense of rhythm, always in service of emotion, clarity and presence.

Before focusing on directing, he worked in art direction and set design on major international productions with filmmakers including Woody Allen, Sofia Coppola, Michael Bay, David Fincher and Clint Eastwood, on projects such as Marie Antoinette, Les Misérables and Midnight in Paris. This background continues to shape his approach to framing, composition and visual storytelling.

He has since developed a sustained body of work in fashion, luxury and music, directing campaigns, branded films, runway captures and live visual content. His selected collaborations include Rabanne, Balmain, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Christian Louboutin, Perrier-Jouët, Marine Serre, Courrèges, Alexandre Vauthier and Adidas Y-3.

Known for both agile productions and technically ambitious formats, he has directed more than 150 films for Rabanne, over 50 films for Balmain, and runway films or live captures for Virgil Abloh at Louis Vuitton, Balmain, Courrèges, Yeezy and Alexandre Vauthier. He also directed artists including Dita Von Teese, Mika, Arielle Dombasle and Léa Seydoux for Christian Louboutin.

His first short film, Hard Lines (Le fil des coups), was screened in around thirty international festivals across more than twenty countries and received multiple awards, including jury prizes. In parallel, his art direction work was recognized with an Excellence Award from the Art Directors Guild in Los Angeles and two Emmy nominations.

His visual language is defined by elegance, restraint and narrative force. Whether working on a fashion film, a live capture or a commercial piece, he aims to create images that feel both precise and lasting — visually distinctive, emotionally grounded and immediately readable for brands, producers and audiences alike.
